Light Yellow Wedding Inspiration

By Ali

Used a lot, or used a little, yellow is a great way to add a bit of summer and cheer to your wedding palette! Yellow can be used on it’s own in varying shades to add dimension, or with other colors to add a bit of contrast. We love pairing our canary and golden yellows with aquamarine, royal blue, hot pink, or charcoal, just to pick a few. The combinations are endless and a touch of yellow brightens up any wedding. Here’s a bit of our favorite light yellow wedding inspiration!

Black, White and Red Wedding Inspiration

By Autumn

For modern yet classic style, look no further than this black, white and red color palette inspired by our Classic Urban wedding invitations!  We’re just loving the look of black and white with hints of red in this updated version of a classic theme.  Instead of red roses, use black and white anemones and keep the red to a minimum.  Sometimes less is more, and here is no exception.
Black, white and red wedding inspiration By using red sparingly, you can create a modern yet timeless look that will be in style for years to come.  For instance, by using red on just the envelope liner and belly band of the wedding invitation suite, your main stationery will retain a classic black and white look that is totally timeless.  The same goes for the cake, bridesmaids dresses and other decor.  Adding just a hint of red, such as on the chairs or in the signature drinks featured on this inspiration board, will be enough to give your event that modern edge.

Classic Wedding Invitations with Red Accents

By Autumn

Our Classic Urban wedding invitation suite is the epitome of modern elegance.  These traditional wedding invitations are the ultimate choice if you’re looking for simple, classic wedding invitations.  Nothing says upscale and timeless like gothic typefaces and a delicate script font.  To give the invitation some flair and a hint of color, the shell patterned envelope liner and belly band have been done in cherry red.

Pink and Navy Blue Wedding Inspiration

By Autumn

Today we’re featuring pink and navy blue wedding inspiration to match our unique Modern Script wedding invitations.  While most navy blue and pink motifs stay true to their palette colors, we’ve decided to add a bit of a twist by incorporating a bright tangerine orange!  Adding touches of orange or yellow hues throughout your decor will keep the pink and navy from looking too matchy-matchy and will also freshen up the entire feel of the event.  An unexpected color can keep a palette from going stale and will also make it feel more modern overall. Most of the decor and details featured are navy and pink because you only need a small touch of an accent color to make it pop.  In our inspiration, we’ve used tangerine and yellow only on the cake.  Keeping the bridesmaids in navy and pink and just bringing in orange through the flowers, or a small amount of ceremony or reception decor will keep the palette interesting to your guests’ eyes.

We recommend doing your wedding invitations in just navy blue and pink as well, as adding a third color here would make things look too busy.  Using a third accent color sparingly and in just a few key places will have the biggest impact.
