Nothing is more elegant than navy blue. Navy is versatile and adds instant sophistication to any color scheme! Pair navy with neutral colors for a classic feel, or match it with bright greens or coral for a fresh, stylish look! This dark blue hue works with any setting and looks gorgeous as a pop of color or as the main shade. We love a dark navy suit or bridesmaid dress paired with bright flowers. Here’s some more of our favorite navy blue wedding inspiration.
Our Script Elegance wedding invitations look gorgeous in navy blue and kelly green! The large script names in navy work well with the kelly green type to create look that is both classic and contemporary. Add an extra pop of color with our belly bands and new envelope liners!
This Script Elegance wedding invitation design also features matching enclosures and addressing options, as well as day of accessories to complete the look! These gorgeous navy blue wedding invitations are the epitome of classic elegance. We love that this particular client took our Script Elegance wedding invitations (normally shown in black) and changed the text color to navy blue and added a navy blue striped envelope liner. While this is an extremely classic and gorgeous look, as you will see in the next few pictures, they didn’t stop there.
These nautical inspired wedding invitations took a turn for the modern when the bride and groom added an apple green belly band! It’s quite an unexpected yet pleasant surprise for this elegant wedding invite and creates a more playful and contemporary look. We thought that this design looked great in navy alone, but were thrilled to see the finished product with yet another pop of color!
In the picture above we did a tiny bit of photoshopping work to show what the invite would look like in pure navy blue. In the previous pictures, the names were in green apple, but here everything is navy. If you are going for a more classic or nautical look for your wedding, then this is the way to go. If you’re going more modern, then we recommend a touch of color such as the green apple or perhaps a pink or coral to accent the navy.
We hope you’re as thrilled about our Script Elegance design in navy blue as we are! Ordering this wedding invitation suite is easy and totally customizable to include just the pieces and options you need. Some of the available options are response cards, multiple enclosures, belly bands, envelope liners and day of accessories to match such as programs, menus and place cards. Feel free to get your order started, or keep combing through our blog for more classic wedding invitation designs.
Today we’re featuring pink and navy blue wedding inspiration to match our unique Modern Script wedding invitations. While most navy blue and pink motifs stay true to their palette colors, we’ve decided to add a bit of a twist by incorporating a bright tangerine orange! Adding touches of orange or yellow hues throughout your decor will keep the pink and navy from looking too matchy-matchy and will also freshen up the entire feel of the event. An unexpected color can keep a palette from going stale and will also make it feel more modern overall.
Most of the decor and details featured are navy and pink because you only need a small touch of an accent color to make it pop. In our inspiration, we’ve used tangerine and yellow only on the cake. Keeping the bridesmaids in navy and pink and just bringing in orange through the flowers, or a small amount of ceremony or reception decor will keep the palette interesting to your guests’ eyes.
We recommend doing your wedding invitations in just navy blue and pink as well, as adding a third color here would make things look too busy. Using a third accent color sparingly and in just a few key places will have the biggest impact.

These unique navy blue wedding invitations featuring a funky script font are one of our favorite designs from this year’s new collection. The contemporary flair of the typography on these modern wedding invitations really sets it apart from our other script invitation designs, making it perfect for a city or urban wedding. While the unique calligraphy font does make this wedding invitation feel very modern, the simplicity of the design and the focus on the bride and groom names creates a classy and timeless statement as well.
One of the best elements of this suite are the enclosure cards. The unique typography of the script headings and perfect use of white space really give these pieces a modern flair. The look is fun and fashion forward at the same time, creating an edgy and stylish feel for your wedding or event.
The Modern Script wedding invitation suite has a full range of enclosure cards and guest addressing options, but also a complete collection of day-of wedding stationery such as menus, thank yous, programs and more so you can carry this classic look throughout your wedding.
While navy blue and black (as shown above) is a classic combination, the belly band and envelope liner can be changed to any of our 40 ink options. The liner pattern may be changed as well. The pink and navy color combination below takes this suite to a whole new level, making it even more playful, modern and spirited. This modern design works very well in bold and bright colors such as hot pink, lime green, pool blue, tangerine, or any statement color.
