Black and white is a classic combination, and the use of stripes will make your wedding elegant and fashion forward. Keep things from being too topsy turvy by adding stripes as accent pieces. We love big and bold stripes on bridesmaid dresses, bouquet accent ribbons, and table runners. Add a pop of color or a touch of metallic to create a glamorous feel! Here’s some of our favorite black and white stripe wedding inspiration.

Simple, classic and understated perfectly describe these gorgeous yellow wedding invitations with large script. The design featured is our Script Elegance wedding invitation, one of the many designs from our large collection of script wedding invitations with big names. The envelope liner is shown in golden yellow with a shell pattern, while the invitation text is shown in charcoal gray.
Between the vibrant envelope liner and solid yellow invitation wrapper, there is enough color to delight and surprise your guests when they open their invitations while the main stationery stays classic and timeless. With most of our invitations, we recommend using black or gray for the main text while integrating the color into the removable pieces such as the invitation wrappers and envelope liners. This way your main stationery is tasteful and easy to read, while the auxiliary pieces bring in the drama and color.
This wedding invitation suite, along with all of our others, has optional response cards, small and large enclosures, guest addressing options and matching save the dates, programs, place cards, menus and thank yous. We designed all of our wedding invitations this way so you can create a package that fits your needs and also carry your paper theme throughout your even from start to finish.

These gorgeous navy blue wedding invitations are the epitome of classic elegance. We love that this particular client took our Script Elegance wedding invitations (normally shown in black) and changed the text color to navy blue and added a navy blue striped envelope liner. While this is an extremely classic and gorgeous look, as you will see in the next few pictures, they didn’t stop there.
These nautical inspired wedding invitations took a turn for the modern when the bride and groom added an apple green belly band! It’s quite an unexpected yet pleasant surprise for this elegant wedding invite and creates a more playful and contemporary look. We thought that this design looked great in navy alone, but were thrilled to see the finished product with yet another pop of color!
In the picture above we did a tiny bit of photoshopping work to show what the invite would look like in pure navy blue. In the previous pictures, the names were in green apple, but here everything is navy. If you are going for a more classic or nautical look for your wedding, then this is the way to go. If you’re going more modern, then we recommend a touch of color such as the green apple or perhaps a pink or coral to accent the navy.
We hope you’re as thrilled about our Script Elegance design in navy blue as we are! Ordering this wedding invitation suite is easy and totally customizable to include just the pieces and options you need. Some of the available options are response cards, multiple enclosures, belly bands, envelope liners and day of accessories to match such as programs, menus and place cards.
