I’m really excited about today’s post. Our friends Steve and Jennifer over at Bumblebee Linens shared one of their gorgeous vintage bridal hankies with us and I was thrilled to get to use it in our latest photo shoot! Their wedding handkerchiefs are absolutely gorgeous and the quality is outstanding. Delicate lace embroidery, pretty whites, quality fabric. We’re totally in love.
Decorative handkerchiefs are often used during the ceremony to blot away those emotional tears of joy. Rather than having a plain hankie, something with a delicate, vintage look goes much nicer with the overall look of a wedding. These hankies can also be used as an alternative to standard catering napkins at the reception, giving your event a styled, romantic and vintage feel. We had a great time incorporating them as a decor element when styling our wedding invitation pictures.
Shown above is our Script Elegance wedding invitation. We love the simple and timeless feel of this invitation mixed with the slightly vintage and romantic look of the lace embroidery. We highly recommend mixing texture with design when styling your wedding decor elements.

Silver works beautifully as an accent color, but this shimmery neutral can also hold its own as the star of any wedding color palette. Go all out with silver foil and glamorous bridesmaids gowns, or just add a touch or two with pearls and glitter. Here are a few of our favorite silver wedding inspiration pieces!
Our Ornate Elegance design works perfectly with a silver color scheme! Keep things simple with black text and add a pop of silver with the matching belly band. If you’re going for a darker silver shade, as shown below in our Classic Vintage design, our charcoal swatch will still have a shimmery appearance from our signature shimmer stock!
Both designs feature matching enclosures and addressing options. Want more silver in your invitations? Our new envelope liners are the perfect way to add more color to a suite! They’re available in patterns or solid colors and give that extra touch to impress your guests.

Blue and orange is a classic complementary color scheme that looks fresh and vibrant for your wedding day. What we love about color schemes is that when colors do not match perfectly it adds move visual interest and creativity to your theme or color! We loved this inspiration paired with our Modern Circles Wedding Invitation Design Suite shown in Tangerine orange and Tiffany blue
Picking up small details like using the circular shape and tying that in with a polka dot bow-tie for the groom or groomsmen shows close attention to detail. The shape can also be used in jewelry and even the garnish of a cocktail! Be sure to check out even more blue and orange wedding inspiration photos on our pinterest page!
Lilac is such a beautiful and subtle color. It is light, but can make a very bold statement! It is said that lilac represents the growth from innocence to knowledge or childhood into adulthood and sophisticated promise, which makes it very appropriate for your wedding. This whimsical color can be used almost everywhere in your wedding without it being “too much”.
Clear chairs for a reception is a great way to make your space feel larger than it is! Our modern dots wedding invitation suite makes a great accent to this wedding because of the subtle use of color and the lowercase type represents the youthfulness of lilac. This is all wrapped up into an elegant wedding invitation suite which is sure to bring your special day together.
