General Questions

How do I place an order?
All orders are processed through our secure online store. For more detailed information about our ordering process please click here.

What types of payment do you accept?
Payment can be made with your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card as well as with Paypal.

Do you have a retail store or walk-in location?
Shine Wedding Invitations is an online stationery boutique.  We do not have a walk-in location.

Do you have a phone number where I can talk to someone?
We primarily conduct our business online, therefore the best way to get in touch with us is via email through our Send Inquiry form or via our Contact Us page.

Do you sell samples of your wedding invitations?
Yes!  You can order a sample by clicking the “Order Sample” button located on the product page and completing the checkout process.  Wedding invitation samples include an invitation, response card, small enclosure, large enclosure, belly band, and blank and addressed envelopes.  A copy of our color chart is also included so you can see our color options in print.  We encourage you to order a sample so you can experience the quality of our paper and printing for yourself!  Sample sets cost $6.50 each plus shipping.

Do you sell samples of your other wedding stationery?
We do have samples available of some of our wedding accessories, but not all.  Currently, only items with an “order sample” button have samples available.

Can samples be customized?
All of our samples are pre-printed with standardized wording and colors and cannot be customized.  Samples will arrive in the colors shown in the example pictures for each design.  We do include a color chart of all of our available color choices so you can see them in print and choose the colors that you like best for your actual invitations.  Personalization of your wording and colors is included in the design process if you should place a full order with us.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes!  In addition to the US, we currently ship to Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Ireland.  Orders shipping to those countries can be placed directly through our website.  For more information on transit and delivery time internationally, please see our detailed shipping information.

Can I order less than 50 invitations?
Our minimum quantity for all wedding invitations and customized wedding stationery is 50.

Are envelopes included?
Yes, matching white pearl envelopes are included with invitations, response cards, save the dates, and thank you cards.  We have return addressing options for most envelopes, as well as guest addressing services (also known as computer calligraphy).  Click here to learn more about our envelope addressing and envelope options.

Can my invitations be printed in a different language?
We can do most languages, but please contact us before placing an order.  Currently our fee for doing foreign language stationery is $50 per proof for each item ordered.  Additional fees may apply and are subject to change, so please contact us for more information.

How much postage is required to mail your wedding invitations?
Our wedding invitation suites range from 1 to 2 ounces depending on how many pieces you order.  In general, packages that include an invitation, two enclosures and a belly band weigh 1 ounce even.  Packages with an invitation, three enclosures and a belly band weigh 2 ounces.  These weights are estimates and not guaranteed; we highly recommend taking an assembled invitation to the post office to be officially weighed before purchasing and applying postage.

I didn’t order enough invites. Can I order more later?
More invitations can be ordered at a later date, but it is substantially more expensive than ordering extras up front.  This is because each print run incurs certain setup costs and preparation time, despite the quantity ordered.  We highly recommend ordering at least 10-15 extras up front as it is much more cost effective.  Be sure to account for wrong addresses, last minute guests, keepsakes for you and family, as well as a set for your photographer to document when deciding on your final quantity.

Can I cancel my order?
For wedding invitations and other customized stationery, there is a cancellation charge of 25% of your total order or $100, whichever is greater, if you decide to cancel your order after proofs have been sent. Once you have approved your proofs and the printing process has started, your order cannot be canceled. Please see our return and cancellation policy for more information.
